Installation Guide

Get up and running in under two minutes.

macOS Installation

  • Download the .dmg file from the macOS card above
  • Double-click the downloaded file to mount the disk image
  • Drag AIVE ONE Beta into your Applications folder
  • Open AIVE ONE Beta from Applications or Spotlight (Cmd + Space, type "AIVE")
  • Important — first launch: macOS Gatekeeper will block the app because it is not yet notarised. Right-click (or Control-click) the app in Applications and select Open, then click Open in the confirmation dialog. You only need to do this once.
  • Alternatively, go to System Settings > Privacy & Security and click Open Anyway next to the AIVE ONE Beta message
  • Sign in with your AIVE account or start with a free trial

Windows Installation

  • Download the .exe installer from the Windows card above
  • Run the installer and follow the on-screen prompts
  • Choose your installation directory (default: C:\Program Files\AIVE ONE Beta)
  • Launch AIVE ONE Beta from the Start menu or desktop shortcut
  • Sign in with your AIVE account or start with a free trial

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need an account to download?

No. You can download and install AIVE ONE Beta without creating an account. A free account is required to unlock certain AI features and cloud export.

Is the app signed and notarised?

The macOS build is ad-hoc signed. Full Apple Developer ID signing and notarisation are planned for a future release. Until then, macOS Gatekeeper will show a warning on first launch — right-click the app and select Open to bypass it. The Windows installer is not yet code-signed; Windows SmartScreen may show a warning that you can dismiss by clicking More info then Run anyway.

How do I update to newer versions?

AIVE ONE Beta includes auto-update. You will receive a notification when a new version is available. You can also check manually from AIVE ONE Beta > Check for Updates in the menu bar.

Can I run AIVE ONE Beta on older macOS versions?

AIVE ONE Beta requires macOS 13 Ventura or later. Earlier versions are not supported due to Metal API requirements and modern system framework dependencies.

How do I uninstall AIVE ONE Beta?

On macOS, drag AIVE ONE Beta from your Applications folder to the Bin. On Windows, use Settings > Apps > Installed Apps and click Uninstall. Your projects and preferences are stored separately and will not be deleted.

Does AIVE ONE Beta work offline?

Yes. Core editing and local AI features work fully offline. Cloud export, YouTube Channel Learner, and natural language AI commands require an internet connection.
