Customize Shortcuts
AIVE ONE Beta allows you to remap any shortcut to fit your workflow.
How to Customize
- Open AIVE ONE Beta > Settings > Keyboard Shortcuts (or press Cmd + , then select the Shortcuts tab).
- Search for the action you want to remap using the search field.
- Click the current shortcut binding, then press your desired key combination.
- If the combination conflicts with an existing shortcut, AIVE ONE Beta will show a warning and let you resolve it.
- Click Save to apply your changes.
Preset Layouts
Switch between pre-built keyboard layouts that match other editors you may be familiar with:
- AIVE ONE Beta (Default) — Optimised for AIVE ONE Beta's magnetic timeline
- Final Cut Pro — Matches FCP keyboard shortcuts
- Premiere Pro — Matches Adobe Premiere shortcuts
- DaVinci Resolve — Matches Resolve keyboard shortcuts
Tip: Custom shortcut profiles sync across your devices via your AIVE account. You can also export and import shortcut profiles as JSON files to share with team members.
Resetting Shortcuts
To restore all shortcuts to their defaults, open Settings > Shortcuts and click Reset to Default. This cannot be undone, but your current profile will be backed up automatically.
